Why Kindness Quotes – A Personal Story
The other day I went to Costco to get my groceries. I picked up a bread – one of those that they bake in their bakery. As I was doing that, I noticed one of the bakers. I politely smiled and greeted him, and went on my way.
I didn’t get far when he came running after me with another bread – one that had just been packed. So he was offering me an even fresher bread, than the one I just got.
That’s what a smile, and kindness does.
It’s not a big story – I know. It would have sounded better if it was a glamorous story. However, while things like this do not happen to me daily, it does happen very often. This is why I strongly believe in kindness, a smile, and human decency – and why I took the time to compile this post about kindness quotes.
Kindness is what I teach my children, and in fact, I’ve written a book about it entitled I Am Small But I Know This – A Children’s Book About Love and Respect for All
